City Concours, the unique and world-class automotive garden party, is to return to Central London in Summer 2018. Following the overwhelming success of the inaugural event this summer, City Concours will once again display some of the world’s finest cars within the intimate and exclusive setting of the Honourable Artillery Company from 7-8 June 2018.

All are welcome to enjoy a relaxed environment with great food, luxurious exhibitors and a variety of entertainment suites, all alongside some of the world’s most magnificent automobiles positioned around the historic gardens of the Honourable Artillery Company in Central London.

City Concours is a one-of-a-kind retail opportunity, aimed at collectors, enthusiasts and people with an appreciation of quality and craftsmanship. Retail pavilions positioned around the gardens will house some of the world’s most luxurious brands alongside artisan art and one-off designs in a dedicated Art Pavilion. On Thursday 7 and Friday 8 June 2018 a specially curated collection of Le Mans winners, Land Speed Record holders and a host of classic and modern supercars will be displayed in the gardens.

Nearly 3500 people and some 140 of the most incredible cars in the world gathered for the first City Concours in 2017, and with higher numbers expected for the 2018 event, new bespoke hospitality options including fine dining luncheon experiences and a number of drinks party packages, have been enlisted and already are selling out ahead next summer’s garden party.

Among the variety of exclusive hospitality options on offer is the VIP Preview Breakfast prior to the opening of City Concours on Thursday, where guests are welcomed to a breakfast buffet and an exclusive intimate preview of the cars on display. The first evening (7 June) plays host to a Concours Drinks Party serving up champagne and canapés, providing the perfect backdrop for more private viewing of the displays as the sun goes down.

City Concours is offering more people the opportunity to display their amazing cars on 2018. Automotive and hospitality applications are being taken through the new 2018 www.cityconcours.co.uk website.

About Thorough Events:

Thorough Events organised the first Concours of Elegance in 2012, setting a new global benchmark for a classic car concours and winning prestigious awards in the process; unheard of for a ‘start-up’ event in its first year. The second Concours of Elegance was held in 2013 to equal fanfare at the historic Royal Palace of St James in London, with the widely acclaimed third Concours set in the stunning grounds of Hampton Court Palace in September 2014, before heading to the Palace of Holyroodhouse in 2015 and back to Windsor Castle in 2016. Only cars of the highest calibre are invited to the Concours of Elegance, from all over the world, painstakingly selected by the Concours Steering Committee; a respected team of authoritative historic car experts. A key objective of the annual Concours of Elegance is to raise significant sums for charity. Thorough Events also runs the Gulf Concours, hosted at the Burj al Arab, and is launching the City Concours at the Honourable Artillery Company headquarters in 2017.
