NotesThe Rusty Rally is an epic motoring adventure that challenges teams to drive through 6 countries in 3 days, navigating some of the world`s most famous driving routes in a car worth no more than 500.

It aims to raise vital funds to support the Outward Bound Trust who work with disadvantaged young people in outdoor educational centres across the UK.

It`s a road trip worthy of a Top Gear special and we need help telling its story.

They have two exciting routes to choose from:

The Italian Route
8 - 11 June 2017
A beautiful route passing through France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Visit military sites, sample French cuisine, cruise through the famous Black Forest, have lunch by the towering Rhine Falls, drive over one of The Alps` highest mountain passes and finally relax by the shores of The Italian Lakes - this has it all. Check out the video and photos to get a real flavour of this scenic route.

The Viking Route
14 - 17 September 2017
Blaze a trail through Northern Europe, through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Denmark and Sweden. Picture rolling landscapes, towering windmills, pretty canals, jaw dropping bridges and coastlines and beautiful Nordic towns.

The Rusty Rally really is an amazing blend of adventure travel and terrible cars - and all for a great cause. Capacity for both routes is strictly limited to 15 cars only, which makes for great team camaraderie on the trip.

3 nights` 4* hotel accommodation and dinner is included in the trip and we ask that teams raise 10,000 per car - which will all go towards helping us reach over 30,000 disadvantaged young people this year. There is a registration fee of 250 per person to enter.

They have plenty of ideas to help with your fundraising, which once you break it down per person is quite manageable. The most successful fundraising has been done by teams who have raised sponsorship from businesses by putting company logos on their car. They can discuss with you what methods would work best for you.

If you are inspired to get involved and please do let William know if you would like to enter a team.

Best regards,
